Privacy policy
This is a translation for your convenience. The legally binding version is the German Datenschutzerklärung.
This page explains which data we process when you visit this website or contact us through it.
Controller
The controller is Gebr. Cordtomeikel Speditions GmbH, Schreinerstraße 9, 33378 Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Germany. Phone +49 5242 9381610, email info@corsped.de. Who represents the company is stated in the legal notice.
The key points
This website does not set cookies. We count how many visitors come with the Umami service, without cookies (see below). The fonts are self-hosted: they come from the same server as the page and are not loaded from Google. No third-party content such as maps or videos is embedded. Beyond hosting and visitor counting, data only goes to third parties if you submit the enquiry form, click a link to Google Maps or click a link to another website.
Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by lowcloud UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Obernstraße 50, 33602 Bielefeld, Germany. The server is located in a data centre of Hetzner Online GmbH in Falkenstein (Saxony, Germany). With every request the server records technically necessary data in log files: your IP address, date and time, the page requested and details of your browser (user agent). This serves the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in this operation).
The hosting provider processes this data on our behalf. The log files are deleted after [PLATZHALTER: Speicherdauer der Server-Logdateien beim Hosting-Anbieter].
Visitor counting with Umami
To see how many people visit the website and which pages they view, we use the Umami Cloud service of Umami Software, Inc. (USA). When a page is loaded, your browser loads a small script from Umami and reports the page viewed, the page you came from, screen size, language, browser, operating system and country. Umami does not set cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not create profiles across websites. So that a visitor is not counted twice, Umami creates an encrypted identifier from the IP address and browser details, which changes regularly. According to Umami, your IP address is not stored in the statistics; it only arises technically during the request. We only see aggregated figures.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in adapting the website to the needs of visitors). Umami acts as our processor. There is a contract under Art. 28 GDPR for this. The data is stored in Umami's EU region. As Umami is a US company, access from the USA cannot be ruled out. This is based on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR), which form part of this contract. The data is deleted after six months at the latest. If your browser sends “Do Not Track” or blocks scripts, no counting takes place. More in Umami's privacy policy.
Enquiries via the form
Required fields in the form are company, email address and message. The subject (storage space, transport or other) is preselected. Name and phone are optional. Your entries are only transmitted when you click “Send enquiry”, and they go to the Web3Forms service. For technical reasons Web3Forms also receives your IP address. The service delivers your entries by email to info@corsped.de. Merely visiting the page does not create a connection to Web3Forms.
We use your details to answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as a contract or pre-contractual steps are concerned, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling enquiries from businesses promptly). We keep your enquiry for as long as we are processing it and beyond that only insofar as retention obligations apply, for example for business letters under commercial and tax law. You do not have to use the form. You can also call us or send an email.
Web3Forms as a service provider
Web3Forms is operated by Web3Creative, based in India, and acts as our processor. [PLATZHALTER: AV-Vertrag mit Web3Forms inkl. Standardvertragsklauseln abgeschlossen? Dann diesen Satz bestätigen] Web3Forms uses infrastructure from Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare and Hetzner, among others. Because the operator is based in India and these providers work in several regions, your data may reach countries outside the EU.
To fight spam, Web3Forms passes the IP address and email address of senders to the services CleanTalk and Akismet, according to Web3Forms in the USA. Web3Forms stores enquiries for a maximum of three years, shorter depending on the plan, and then deletes them automatically. More in Web3Forms' privacy policy.
Phone and email
If you call or write to us, we process your details, for example name, phone number, email address and the content of your message, in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The same retention period applies as for the form.
The mailbox info@corsped.de is hosted by STRATO GmbH, based in Berlin. The provider stores incoming messages on our behalf.
Applying as a driver
If you apply to us as a driver, by phone or by email, we process your details and documents in order to decide on an employment relationship. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation of an employment relationship).
Google Maps
The home page and the contact page each contain a link to Google Maps so that you can plan your route to the warehouse. It is only a link. The map is not embedded, and no data flows to Google when you visit this website. Google Maps only opens in a new window after you click the link. From then on, Google processes data according to its own privacy policy, over which we have no influence.
Your rights
You have the following rights with respect to us:
- Access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of incorrect data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
Right to object: You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your data insofar as it is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR). We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
For all of these rights, an email to info@corsped.de or a call to +49 5242 9381610 is sufficient.
Complaints to the supervisory authority
You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), www.ldi.nrw.de.
Automated decision-making
There is no automated decision-making, including profiling, under Art. 22 GDPR.
